Why this exists

Most people only hear about break-ins on their own block. Citizen and Nextdoor surface some of this, but scattered across feeds. This site exists to make the pattern visible in one place — focused, visual, and filterable by date — so the scale of the problem is easier to see and easier to act on.

Locations shown on the map are snapped to the block, never the exact address — a pin on someone's house would tell the world who got hit and where they park. After you submit a report, we also point you to Minneapolis Police Department's online reporting, since this site is meant to complement official channels, not replace them.
